As a Freelance/Contract Graphic Designer at Pacific Campaign House, you will play a crucial role in visually bringing our digital content and advertising campaigns to life. Your creative skills, sharp design eye, and expertise in strategic design will help us create compelling and culturally-relevant visuals that resonate with diverse communities.
Responsibilities:
- Visual Design: Develop captivating and effective designs for various digital marketing specs, including but not limited to social media graphics, banner ads, infographics, branding illustrations and materials, and more.
- Conceptualization: Collaborate with our creative team to conceptualize and develop design ideas and strategy that align with campaign objectives and messaging.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Infuse cultural sensitivity and authenticity into your designs to ensure they resonate with target audiences from diverse backgrounds.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency and adhere to design guidelines while creating fresh and engaging visuals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, video editors, and art directors to ensure that design elements harmonize with the overall campaign.
- Deadline Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
- Feedback Integration: Be open to constructive feedback and make revisions as needed to ensure agency standards and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a persuasive and compelling graphic designer, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following design software programs: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Figma, etc.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Creative thinking and the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling designs.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A passion for diversity and cultural sensitivity in advertising.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.

- Nonprofit/Political Experience: You have extensive experience in creating mission-driven and community-focused content to persuade, mobilize, or convert audiences.
- Access to Stock/Creative Resources: PCH maintains stockphoto accounts, and it is not a requirement to have your own subscriptions. However, being able to work independently with your own tools and resources is a plus.
- Time Management & Communication: You are meticulous in managing your schedule and communicating timelines, updates, and deliveries consistently and frequently.
